WHY PURCHASE ON iTUNES?
Purchasing BTS's songs (individually, not completing the albums) helps their music chart on the Canadian iTunes songs, albums and music video charts as well as become trending artists within the platform, further exposing them to the general public in Canada.

Sales from iTunes Canada, using a Canadian Apple ID, helps BTS chart on Music Canada and Canadian Billboard charts! Purchasing all songs individually instead of completing their albums allows BTS to chart on both songs and albums charts for iTunes, Music Canada and Billboard, using the TEA rule.

The iTunes app can be downloaded on iOS via the AppStore or on Mac and PC.

To login to iTunes, you first require an Apple ID.
You can create an Apple ID by visiting appleid.apple.com, through a new iOS or macOS device, through iTunes on a PC, or directly through the iTunes Android app.
When signing up, fill in all the required info, agree to their terms and conditions, verify your email address and make sure to add a method of payment (credit card, debit card PayPal, Apple Pay or Apple gift card number).

iTunes Apple ID can be different from Apple Music Apple ID to avoid streaming purchased song(s) from iTunes which won't count for streams on Apple Music.

You can purchase BTS's songs on iTunes on your iOS devices.
You can also purchase BTS's songs using your Apple ID on Mac and PC devices through the iTunes application:
1. Open the iTunes desktop app on your computer. Log in with your Apple ID.
2. Near the top of the iTunes application window click on Store. Search a song or album by BTS (make sure Store is highlighted when searching not Library).
3. Click on the price button on the right-hand side of the song to purchase. (Usually, best to purchase tracks individually).
4. Sign in to your Apple ID then click Buy to complete your purchase. [Note: Remove your purchased song(s) from iTunes in your Apple Music Library (iOS/Android) and Library tab (MAC/Windows iTunes) then search in Apple Music to re-add song(s) into your library so it counts for streams.]
WHERE DO I OR HOW DO I LISTEN?
While purchasing BTS's music helps them chart within iTunes, on Music Canada and Canadian Billboard charts, playing purchased music does not help their charting long-term. When playing BTS's music, make sure you're playing from a Streaming platform (like Apple Music)!

Remember, for your plays to count as streams within Apple Music (if you're using the same Apple ID for both iTunes and Apple Music), you must delete the iTunes purchased version before streaming and re-add the song directly through the Apple Music app because iTunes and Apple Music songs appear the same in the Apple Music/Music app, but are actually different file types.
